In-Home Clock Service

When you schedule an in-home service call with Brown’s Family Clock Shop, one of our experienced clock professionals will come to your home and carefully evaluate your timepiece.

We will inspect the clock, listen for unusual sounds, examine the movement, and look for signs of wear or damage. After determining the condition of the clock, we will explain our findings and discuss any recommended repairs with you before proceeding.

Whenever possible, we will complete the necessary service in your home. If your clock requires additional repairs that cannot be completed on-site and you approve the work, we will carefully transport the clock to our shop for further repair and restoration.

Once the work is complete, we will make sure your clock is operating properly and keeping accurate time so you can enjoy it for years to come.

Brown's Family Clocks and our family story...

Our company began with one man and his passion for clocks.

In 1978, Delton Brown Sr. founded Brown’s Family Clocks, beginning a family tradition that has continued through four generations. Delton Sr. was a formally trained horologist and earned his CW21 accreditation through the American Watch & Clock Institute (AWCI).

His passion for horology was passed down to his children and grandchildren. Delton Brown Jr., representing the second generation, has continued the family business with more than 40 years of experience.

Today, Delton Jr. is joined by his youngest daughter, Sarah Dosch, representing the third generation. Together, they continue the family tradition of providing honest, dependable clock repair and exceptional customer service.

We understand that a clock is often much more than a timepiece. It may be a family heirloom, a treasured gift, or a piece of history that has been passed down through generations. We take pride in helping our customers preserve those memories by carefully restoring their clocks and bringing them back to life.

Delton Jr. now has the privilege of teaching his grandchildren—the fourth generation—the same care, patience, precision, and respect for craftsmanship that have been part of our family business for generations.
